Getting Started
1. Create Your Account
Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation and enter your email address. You'll receive a verification email - click the link to activate your account. Once verified, you can log in and start creating designs.
2. Upload Your Vehicle Photo
Navigate to "Create" from the dashboard. Upload a clear photo of your vehicle. For best results:
- Use a side-profile or three-quarter angle shot
- Ensure good lighting with minimal shadows
- Avoid busy backgrounds - a plain backdrop works best
- Higher resolution images (1920x1080 or above) produce better results
- Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP
3. Generate Your Wrap Design
After uploading, describe the style you want or choose from our preset styles. Click "Generate" and our AI will create a custom wrap design for your vehicle. Generation typically takes 30-60 seconds.
4. Download Your Design
Once you're happy with a design, you can download the high-resolution image. This can be taken to any professional wrap installer who can use it as a reference for your vehicle wrap.
Credits & Pricing
How Credits Work
WrapsDesigner uses a simple credit system. Each design generation costs credits. You purchase credits in advance and use them whenever you want to create a new design.
Credit Costs
- Standard Generation: 1 credit per design
- Regeneration/Variations: 1 credit per variation
Purchasing Credits
Visit the "Credits" page from your dashboard to purchase more credits. We accept all major credit cards via Stripe. Credits never expire and are tied to your account.
Design Process
Supported Vehicles
Our AI works best with cars, vans, trucks, and SUVs. We support most vehicle types, though results may vary for unusual or heavily modified vehicles.
Photo Requirements
- Resolution: Minimum 1280x720, recommended 1920x1080 or higher
- Format: JPEG, PNG, or WebP
- File size: Up to 10MB
- Angle: Side profile or three-quarter view works best
- Lighting: Even, natural lighting preferred
Style Options
You can describe your desired style in natural language (e.g., "racing stripes in red and black", "camouflage pattern", "corporate branding with blue gradient") or choose from preset styles.
Working with Wrap Installers
The designs you download are high-resolution reference images. Take these to a professional vehicle wrap installer who can recreate the design on vinyl wrap material. The installer will use your design as a visual guide.
Account Management
Profile Settings
Access your profile from the dashboard to update your email address or other account details.
Password Reset
If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link.
Deleting Your Account
To delete your account, please contact us. We'll process your request and remove all your data within 30 days as required by GDPR.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to generate a design?
Most designs are generated within 30-60 seconds. Complex styles may take slightly longer.
Can I get a refund on credits?
Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us for refund requests. Used credits cannot be refunded.
Do credits expire?
No, your credits never expire. They remain in your account until you use them.
Can I use the design commercially?
Yes! Once you've generated and downloaded a design, you have full rights to use it for personal or commercial purposes, including having it applied to your vehicle.
Why didn't my design turn out as expected?
AI generation can sometimes produce unexpected results. Try being more specific in your style description, or try generating a new variation. If you consistently get poor results, ensure your source photo meets our quality guidelines above.
How do I find a wrap installer?
Search for "vehicle wrap installer" or "car wrap shop" in your local area. Look for installers with good reviews and ask to see their portfolio. Bring your downloaded design to show them what you want.
What file format are the designs?
Designs are provided as high-resolution PNG or JPEG images, suitable for showing to wrap installers as a reference.
Can I edit my design after generation?
Currently, designs cannot be edited after generation. However, you can generate variations by using additional credits with modified style descriptions.
